Partners in Law

The Community Law Office (CLO) Partners in Law Program is a seven week course designed to introduce 7-10th graders to theParticipants engage in direct examination legal system as well as serve as mentors/role models to the youth. Ten attorneys, one investigator and a social service staff member work with the youth in small groups to develop a mock trial around a hypothetical case created by the CLO. Participants will be assigned to one of four teams: Judicial, Defense, Prosecution, and Jury. Each team develops their part of the case under the guidance of the CLO team members. Each youth member has a role in the court proceeding.
