Education Through Experience

Education Through ExperienceEducation Through Experience is a twelve week course taught at various locations in Knox and Blount Counties. The program, designed for at-risk youth, provides exposure to community educators who teach skills necessary for youth to become successful adults. The program features open-forum classes conducive to youth interaction and field trips, while instructing the youth on topics such as banking, budgeting, career development, consumer counseling, driver's license, housing, insurance, nutrition, and positive relationships with law enforcement, among other topics. The Community Law Office has partnered in the past with Home Bank, Pellissippi State Career Center, local physicians, and other community organizations.
